This session was a dream come true! When Zheng first contacted me, he and his fiancée didn’t have a specific place chosen for a pre-wedding session. Together, we decided on the absolutely, stunningly beautiful Barcelona, where I’ve never been before (shocking, I know!). So I was obviously over the moon that I would be doing a pre-wedding session in Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter.

We started shooting in the middle of the day and althought there were a lot of people everywhere (and I mean really, a lot), we managed to find some spots where we could actually shoot with not one person in the background.

As it often happens with sessions in the city – people were very enthusiastic when they saw a couple in full wedding clothing! Clapping and cheering are to be expected when shooting in the city, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I did capture some tourists reactions and you can see them below!

The whole experience was amazing. I enjoyed Barcelona so much and I personally think it is a great place for a pre-wedding photoshoot. Gothic Quarter is such a nice place if you want pictures with lots of history in the background. It was a pleasure to capture this lovely couple in Barcelona, prior to their wedding. Take a look at what we created together and let me know if you also want a similar experience!
